To apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

Be applying for an eligible PhD or Professional Doctorate programme at Swansea University. Have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, a 1st class or 2:1 UK undergraduate degree (or equivalent international qualification, and/or a Distinction in a UK master's degree (or international equivalent)
Be classed as an international student, and eligible to pay the international rate of Swansea University tuition fees
Please note that these are minimum entry requirements; excellence must be demonstrated beyond academic qualifications as part of your application for your chosen course.

The scheme is not available to current PhD/Professional Doctorate students (including returning or transfer students)
The scheme is not open for masterÕs level courses
Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party are not entitled to receive a SUIPRES scholarship
