Scholarship Details
Sabah Institute of Art is also answering the pledge by Ministry of education to assist the needy families especially from rural area. Sabah Institute of Art wish to be part of the caring society thus providing another platform for the poor family to support their children in furthering their studies.
á This award is given to the qualified candidates who achieve minimum requirements but eligible for PTPTN.
á Sabah Institute of Art shall top up additional allocation of RM 10 000 from the allocation given under PTPTN to reduce the further burden of the student.
á The candidatesÕ family must be registered under E-kasih program or to submit verification letter by district officer to confirm as underprivileged families.
á The candidates declare that they have not received any other similar grant from other institution.
á The scholarship awards is only applicable to the tuition fees only excluding other fees and must maintain CGPA of 3.0 or above. The award can be revoke if candidates failed to achieve the minimum requirement CGPA for this award and have to bear the remaining courses fees until the program is completed.
á The candidates must achieve a minimum of:
1. 3 AÕs and above in SPM Examination (Applicable to all participants)
2. Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Existing student)
Requirements
1. Applicable to Malaysian Citizens only.
2. The candidates are required to pass the interview by the scholarship committee board.
3. The candidates are required to demonstrate good leadership qualities and active in extracurricular activities.
4. The candidates are required to prepare and provide artistic portfolio before attending interview conducted by SIA.
5. Sabah Institute of Art has full discretion in pertaining to all decision making of the matter.
