President's International Scholarship (FAU)

Florida Atlantic University offers a limited number of President's Scholarships specifically for international students on F-1 or J-1 visas. These scholarships are competitive, and all eligible candidates are automatically considered upon admission to the University.

• To be considered for these international merit scholarships, students must submit a complete admissions application by these deadlines:
• Fall: January 15 (priority); March 15 (regular)
• Spring: August 15 (priority); October 15 (regular)

Freshmen

• $6,000 awarded annually and renewable up to four years for qualified freshmen students on F-1 or J-1 visa. Eligibility requirements include:
• 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 U.S. grading scale
• SAT, ACT or CLT scores
• Proof of English proficiency

Transfers

• $6,000 awarded annually and renewable up to three years for qualified transfer students on F-1 or J-1 visa. Eligibility requirements include:
• 3.5 transfer GPA or higher
• Two years of university (up to 60 credits), or an AA degree
• Proof of English proficiency
