Scholarship Details

The John Willett International Scholarship will offer a 50% tuition fee waiver for a maximum period of two years for the selected recipient to complete their Master of Global Development at Griffith. This will provide an opportunity for the recipient to acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote global sustainable development. This Scholarship will normally be offered once every two years, from 2022.

Requirements

To be eligible you must:

Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, from one of the following countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, PeopleÕs Republic of China, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam.
Have a minimum GPA in previous studies of 4.0 or above on a 7-point scale or equivalent.
Have applied to study the Master of Global Development at Griffith by the scholarship application closing date. Applicants must be a new commencing student in this program.
Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for the chosen postgraduate coursework program.
Be a full-time student commencing in Trimester 1.
