Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, international students must meet the following requirements:
1. Intake and Region:
To a new international student starting in the Fall 2025 or Winter 2026 Intake at Northern College.
International applicants of Northern College from all over the world are eligible to apply if they meet all the criteria outlined in the International Student Scholarships Information Package (PDF, 347 KB).
2. Programs
65 scholarships will be awarded to the eligible applicants admitted to one of the collegeÕs eligible Engineering, Technology, or Trades programs (ETT programs).
50 scholarships will be awarded to the eligible applicants who applied to non-ETT programs.

3. Academic Performance and English Proficiency
Maintain a minimum academic average of 65% in senior high school (for certificate/diploma program) or in post-secondary education (for Post-Graduate Certificate program applicants).

Scholarships will be rescinded if:
Any application documents are found to be fraudulent.
The students do not pay their first-year full tuition and ancillary fees by the start of the semester.
Students do not enroll at Northern College
International students paying domestic tuition fees (e.g., Permanent Residents or dependents of closed work permit holders) are not eligible for this scholarship. is aligns with the Tuition and Ancillary Fees Reporting Operating Procedure (PDF, 463 KB).
