Requirements

The International House is a global living and learning community where students from the U.S. and from other countries around the world live together to share and learn about different cultures and perspectives. Not only do they learn from each other, but they also get multiple benefits from being part of the International House Program. Some of them are listed below:

To be considered for participation in the International House, prospective students aged 18 to 24 years must be admitted as undergraduate-level students at JSU. Note: Preference for acceptance will be given to freshmen.


To be eligible to apply prospective students must have demonstrated maturity, high respect, and appreciation for cultural diversity and different perspectives.


Students must also meet the following criteria:


International Undergraduate: You must meet the following admissions criteria in addition to meeting any other regular admissions criteria:


High School completion with a GPA of 2.5/4.0
College GPA of 2.5/4.0 if you have college credits.
Satisfactory English Proficiency Skills (Test scores as listed on the International Undergraduate Admissions Page)
