Global Transfer Scholars Award (University of South Alabama)

The Global Transfer Scholars award is a competitive, merit-based scholarship, awarded to a limited number of well-qualified transferring international students each year. This scholarship is renewable for up to two years, or until a first bachelorÕs degree is earned, whichever comes first.

To ensure consideration for this opportunity, students must be fully admitted to the University by the priority deadlines. After acceptance to the University of South Alabama, incoming degree-seeking transfer students will automatically be reviewed for the Global Transfer Scholars awards, and no additional scholarship application is required. A scholarship award notification will be emailed to qualified students through their JagMail account.

Qualifications:
Be a Transfer Student on an F-visa
Be a degree-seeking student
If transferring from a 4-year institution, must have at least 30 credits earned. If transferring from a 2-year institution, must have at least 48 credits earned
Have a minimum transfer GPA of 3.0
