"Distinction Awards is based on Original Programme Fee for:
RM 26,100 for Foundation in Arts & Foundation in Science for Malaysian students
RM 27,250 for Foundation in Arts & Foundation in Science for International students

Foundation programme:
SPM/O-Levels 8As: 75%
SPM/O-Levels ³9As: 100%

Diploma programme:
SPM/O-Levels 4-5As: 30%
SPM/O-Levels 6-7As: 50%
SPM/O-Levels 8As: 75%
SPM/O-Levels ³9As: 100%

Undergraduate programme:
UEC (A1, A2): 4As: 30%
UEC (A1, A2): 5As: 50%
UEC (A1, A2): 6As: 75%
UEC (A1, A2): >7As: 100%

Foundation/Diploma/STPM
CGPA 3.5 - 3.74: 30%
CGPA 3.75 - 3.99: 50%
CGPA 4.0: 100%

SAM/AUSMAT/CPU/TEE/MUFY
Score 85 - 89.99: 30%
Score 90 - 94.99: 50%
Score >95: 100%

A-Levels (Best of 3 subjects)
12 - 14 points: 30%
15 - 17 points: 50%
18 points: 100%
A-Levels Scoring (Grade / Point) Ð A*(6), A (5), B (4), C (3), D (2), E (1), U (0)"

Any student is eligible to apply for the study awards. Final decision is to be decided by the committee. The waiver is only
applicable to the first year of study. International students are also eligible to apply for the Distinction Awards based on the equivalent qualification outlined by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). However, the final decision is still at the discretion of the commitee to approve
