Requirements

To be eligible for a Dean's International PhD Scholarship, an applicant must:

  • Apply for and fulfill the entry criteria for admission to the following programs:
    • PhD Welfare Health and Wellbeing
    • PhD Physiotherapy
    • PhD Occupational Therapy
    • PhD Social Work
    • PhD Public Health and Health Promotion
  • Applicants may not be in receipt of any other scholarship.
  • Applicants must be accepted on to a program of full-time study.
  • Applicants must have a minimum 2:1 or equivalent internationally recognized undergraduate qualification to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • Applicants are required to attend an online interview.

Department of Health Sciences:

  • PhD in Welfare Health and Wellbeing
  • PhD in Physiotherapy
  • PhD in Occupational Therapy
  • PhD in Social Work
  • PhD in Public Health and Health Promotion

Department of Life Sciences:

  • PhD in Biosciences
  • PhD in Environment and Health
  • PhD in Environmental Sciences
  • PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience
  • PhD in Psychology
  • PhD in Human performance exercise and rehabilitation
  • PhD in Sport Sciences

Be in receipt of an offer to study on one of the above programs starting in a specific academic date.

Must be classified as an Overseas fee-paying student based on UK government regulations. Must be in receipt of an Unconditional Firm offer of place by the time Scholarships are confirmed in September.
