Scholarship Details
Requirements
Minimum of CGPA 3.0 in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) OR minimum score of
70% in Senior Middle 3 from 5 best subjects (excluding Chinese and Malay) OR 5 subjects
with minimum grade of B4 or maximum 20 points from 5 best subjects (excluding Chinese and
Malay) in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
The disbursement of the living allowance will be made to the AwardeeÕs bank account in
Singapore. The disbursement timeframe will be determined by KHEA and clearly
communicated to the Awardee before the commencement of the undergraduate
programme
The scholarship will apply for the duration of the full-time BachelorÕs Degree programme and
the programmes required for admission into the BachelorÕs Degree programme (eg. Kaplan
Diploma in Professional Business English and the full-time Kaplan Diploma programmes).
The application process for international students wishing to enrol with KHEA will apply to the
Awardee. This process includes awaiting the letter of offer issued by KHEA, and the StudentÕs
Pass issued by the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). The Awardee
must meet all the requirements set by both KHEA and ICA.
During each stage of the programme, staff of Kaplan in Singapore will assist to guide the
scholarship Awardee to prepare application documents needed to complete the Student's Pass
application. Should the StudentÕs Pass application be rejected by ICA for any reason, the
scholarship will be cancelled accordingly.
The scholarship is only tenable for a specified period of study. The Awardee will not be allowed
to transfer, defer or drop out of school. Otherwise, the scholarship will be cancelled with
immediate effect, including ceasing any further disbursement of living allowance.
For the duration of the programme, the Awardee must achieve a student attendance rate of
more than 90%. Should the Awardee fail to do so, KHEA reserves the right to cancel the
scholarship with immediate effect, including ceasing any further disbursement of the living
allowance.
The Awardee shall cooperate with the publicity efforts of Kaplan in Singapore across all media.
This includes any publicity in the press, over WeChat, Facebook or other social media
channels.
Kaplan reserves the right to withdraw and/or revoke the scholarship if the student breaches or
is subsequently found to have breached any applicable law, does not exemplify conduct or
performance (whether academic or others) of a deserving student and/or any disciplinary
action is taken against the student.
