David Guard MABECS University of Birmingham Postgraduate Taught Scholarships (Birmingham)

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

You should have an excellent academic background. Candidates should have or be expecting a 2.1 in a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Have received and accepted an offer for a full time postgraduate taught programme starting specific academic year at the University of Birmingham (Birmingham campus). The student must be entering the first year of a postgraduate taught programme.
Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
Start their studies at the University in specific academic year (the scholarship award may not be deferred).
If a scholarship recipient decides to defer their programme start date to specific academic year, they will no longer be eligible as the scholarship is only available for programmes starting in specific academic year.
Students seeking to study on a course solely delivered as a Ôdistance learningÕ programme are not eligible for this scholarship.
PGDip and PGCert programmes are not eligible.
Successful recipients of the scholarships must have completed online university registration and be ÔNormally RegisteredÕ by specific date. If this is not the case, the university will withdraw the scholarship.
Be domiciled in Malaysia.
Be registered with, and have their postgraduate study application attached to our local representatives MABECS.
