Scholarship Details
This scholarship covers:
your tuition fees
return travel costs
a monthly stipend
an allowances package
Requirements
Candidates will be chosen based on:
- academic merit
- quality of the plan of study
- potential impact on the development of your home country
Eligibility:
- be a citizen of, or have been granted refugee status by an eligible country
- be permanently resident in an eligible commonwealth country
- be registered for a PhD at a university in one of these countries when your scholarship is confirmed
- be available to start your studies in September 2025
- have a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard or a 2:2 and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a master's degree) by September 2025
- be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship
- provide all supporting documentation in the required format
