Candidates will be chosen based on:
academic merit
quality of the plan of study
potential impact on the development of your home country
Eligibility
You must:
be a citizen of, or have been granted refugee status by an eligible country
be permanently resident in an eligible commonwealth country
be registered for a PhD at a university in one of these countries when your scholarship is confirmed
be available to start your studies in September 2025
have a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard or a 2:2 and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a masterÕs degree) by September 2025
be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship
provide all supporting documentation in the required format
