QS World University Rankings 2021 gave University of Portsmouth 5 stars for teaching, employability, internationalisation, facilities, arts and culture, and inclusiveness. The 2020 National Student Survey (NSS) puts the University in the top 30 of UK universities for student satisfaction, with a score of 86% and they are also currently ranked 21st in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2020). University of Portsmouth teaching was rated ‘Gold' by the Teaching Excellence Framework.
