Auckland University of Technology (AUT) (Māori: Te Wānanga Aronui o Tāmaki Makau Rau) is a university in New Zealand. It was originally established in 1895 as a technical college and was granted with the university status in 2000. It has five faculties across three campuses in Auckland; City, North, and South campuses with an additional three specialist locations; AUT Millennium, Warkworth Radio Astronomical Observatory and AUT Centre for Refugee Education.

Today, AUT is now New Zealand's second largest university with 29,250 students, 994 doctoral candidates and 3,400 staff including 195 professors and associate professors, and has more than 100,000 alumni. AUT is also ranked 1st in New Zealand for global research impact and international outlook reflecting the fact that their staff have collaborated on research projects with 140 different countries and worked with more than 5,000 industry partners around the world.

AUT's Foundation Studies is taught at the UP International College in the heart of Auckland's CBD, close to public transport and a wide range of accommodation. Students on this programme will also gain the access to the world-class facilities at AUT.
